Mayo, and then munasib treat for the non-position holders. A select few people were present at the event, but all those who came, had come in to enjoy. It was the long awaited party.

Happy New Year's Eve eveyone!! My last stitches are below ... I really enjoy finding a new font to stitch the year in ... this years color was WDW's Grapefruit ... and here's how it looks in it's pillow ... The table is all ready for the party to begin ... but first we're going out to dinner with Ken and Lisa ... then home for some bubbly, games and dessert ... Looking back on 2014 ... it's been a great year ... I turned 60 this year and had a couple of wonderful trips ... one with my best friends, who both turned 60 this year too Then in September I took my fantasy vacation ... a 5 day trip to Paris to celebrate turning 60 with Lisa .... OMG what a trip!!! of course you've seen a lot of those pictures! lol We also lost our beloved Chip ... miss you!!! and I stitched! Here's some of my finishes for 2014 ... Good Grief! I started this post at the beginning of Apirl and never finished it ... and now it's almost May! Hope Spring is treating you well! Our weather has been all over the map, other than snow, we've had rain and sunshine and rain and pouring down hard rain, sunshine, hail and sunshine again ... and sometimes all on the same day! lol Back in February I went to visit my friend Elaine for the weekend ... she's a stitcher too. We had been talking about learning some new finishing techniques ... we both like learning new things together. So I went through my drawer of "needs to be finished", gathered all my finishing supplies and headed to Elaine's. The first new technique we picked was flat fold. Thanks to Vonna of Twisted Stitcher we had the most awesome instructions! Time for an update on my rotation and an another finish! First up are the rotation pieces ... Peppermint Twist ... stupid tree was pretty boring to stitch, but I love how it looks! Earth laughs is coming along nicely ... even with all the color changes for each flower, I still can stitch more in an evening ... feeling sooo accomplished! lol and last is L*K's Christmas Flip-its ... I'm a bit bummed because I dont' think I have enough fabric left to finish the last of the designs ... I might rip out the top of the border and see if one would fit on top of holly ... I really need to sit down and count it out ... yuck! My finish for the week is Autumn Song by Blackbird Design. I was doing a SAL with Natasha . She got a little side tracked by other stitching that had to get done, but she's really close to finishing it :) I really enjoyed this ... loved the colors!
