A treat for the non-position holders

Mayo, and then munasib treat for the non-position holders. A select few people were present at the event, but all those who came, had come in to enjoy. It was the long awaited party.

Doing a very happy dance ... I finished Home of a Needleworker last night and I'm so pleased with how it turned out! Can't wait to get this puppy framed ... now I want to get started on the first Home of a Needleworker ... Home of a Needleworker (too!) by Little House Needleworks stitched on 32 ct Very Light Examplar linen using suggested Crescent Colours threads I've had the crud this week ... not fun at all, my poor nose feels like it's going to fall off :( but I have been stitching and just being lazy, well other than work. I've been seeing lots of first finishes for 2012 on everyone's blogs. I'm hoping to have another finish before the end of the month. I pulled out Earth Laughs by MDesigns. Tonnes of stuff to share. A million things to do, and an unending mental checklist, with online a few ticks. Thinking, thinking, and dreaming. Time’s short Now’s the time to start the show. Time to show the world your magic. Tell them what you are made of (cadmium, mercury, arsenic). The lions been dreaming for way too long, but that does not make him any less Lion. Wips and a finish ...

Time for an update on my rotation and an another finish! First up are the rotation pieces ... Peppermint Twist ... stupid tree was pretty boring to stitch, but I love how it looks! Earth laughs is coming along nicely ... even with all the color changes for each flower, I still can stitch more in an evening ... feeling sooo accomplished! lol and last is L*K's Christmas Flip-its ... I'm a bit bummed because I dont' think I have enough fabric left to finish the last of the designs ... I might rip out the top of the border and see if one would fit on top of holly ... I really need to sit down and count it out ... yuck! My finish for the week is Autumn Song by Blackbird Design. I was doing a SAL with Natasha . She got a little side tracked by other stitching that had to get done, but she's really close to finishing it :) I really enjoyed this ... loved the colors!
